Established in 1985, Marunda Utama Engineering Pte. Ltd. Initial business involvement was in the trading business primarily marketing of diesel & natural gas engines for industrial and marine applications.

We have been successful in garnering 4 contracts of supplying total eleven (11) units Fairbanks Morse's state-of-the-art dual fuel engines worth some over USD50miIIion of projects to the Singapore Government's Public Utilities Board and Marunda had widen it's perspective and diversified into service line since 1990 providing after-saIes service and spares supply.
As the sole Fairbanks Morse's authorized agent and service representative in the region, our company has won million dollars term contracts with the Singapore Government PUB Board to provide maintenance services and supply of parts for all the eleven (11) Fairbanks Morse dual fuel engines totaling some 28,000 kw of power. Additionally our company also won maintenance term contract for Gardner Denver gas compressor , MWM Deutz gensets, Allen Engines etc. in various PUB's water reclamation plants.
Beyond the area mentioned above, Marunda is also the top choice of the US Navy in Singapore for diesel engines and rotating machinery equipment repairs on board the US Navy ships that call to Singapore ports and overseas jobs.

Our expertise goes beyond diesel, Dual fuel & Gas engine repair. Marunda is also competent and capable of handling various rotating and reciprocating machinery equipment such:
- Pumps of various makes and models, (centrifugal pumps single and multi-stage, axial pumps, reciprocating pumps. rotary pumps to name a few)
- Air compressors (LP, MP, HP) of various makes and models, single stage or multi-stage such as IngersoIl-Rand, Worthington, Quincy, Champion Pneumatic, Kellog, Kobelco, Koika Aronson, Sullair. Curtix, Powerex and Tanabe to name a few.
- Gas Compressors, single or multi-stage reciprocating of various sizes and makes like Gardner Denver, Ariel, Atlas Copco, Baldor, Deltech, Kaeser, Joy, Cooper- Bessemer and Bellis & Morcom etc.
- Deck winches, capstans, anchor handling equipments, and similar types
- Hydraulic Pumps, Hydraulic Motors and Hydraulic Cylinders
- Simulation tests, calibration and adjustments of pressure and temperature switches, pressure and speed transducers and thermocouples used in PLC based engine control systems.
- Servicing and re-qualification of Colt-Pielstic PC2.5 fuel injectors and FM-OP fuel nozzles.
- Vast knowledge and experience in the repair of HP/LP steam turbines and valves used in the steam plant.
- Hands-on experience in the gas turbine change-out of GE LM-2500 propulsion plant.
